Frankly speaking…. its a business at the end of the day.
0-16 is nothing to be proud of but Lawrence Frank never stopped coaching… until today. It was announced early Sunday that Lawrence Frank was relieved of his coaching duties while the team was preparing to take on the Los Angeles Lakers. This was not a situation like the Hornets where it felt the players had quit on their coach but rather there just isn’t enough talent to work with. A team that is dealing with a inevitable move, a new owner and a slew of injuries, Coach Frank did the best he could with the situation. I remember the day he was hired. He lasted a lot longer than most would have guessed. He coached every possession and on most nights showed more emotion than his team could muster up. He is a student of the game and it won’t be long before he has another job somewhere but in the mean time I would love to hear his insight on one of the many NBA broadcasting teams out there.

Tweet of the Night
I’m betting David Kahn pulled out a ladder, climbed up and snipped nets after T-Wolves victory in Denver. His vision finally validated! – @WojYahooNBA

Frank is the classic scapegoat.
No one could have done better with what he had available.
But Frank was a good coach for the Nets – there are teams that could use someone with his experience.
There has to be at least 1 "rookie" head coach who is at risk!
Don't teams usually go get the guy who has embarrassed them the most recently?
I think frank is really a great coach. Maybe it has a big reason to scape for that. By the way I like your site and I already follow it on facebook. Thanks
